Analisis Rugi-Rugi Daya Pada Jaringan Distribusi Penyulang Jentak Di Ulp Jeneponto Pt Pln (Persero) Sulselrabar
Abstract
The distribution of the electric power system is very necessary. The problem in this study is the load imbalance caused by the regulation of single-phase loads on low-voltage network subscribers. As a result of the load imbalance, a current appears in the neutral of the transformer. The current flowing in the neutral of this transformer causes losses. Line conductor losses are caused by corona, magnetic losses, skin effects and loose clamping bolts. This study discusses the analysis of power loss calculations at the Punagaya Substation, Feeding Jentak by using the Electrical Transient Analyzer program simulation program.
This research was conducted to determine the power losses that occur manually and by using the ETAP application on the Jentak feeder distribution network at the Punagaya GI and improvements that can be made to reduce the amount of power losses in the Jentak feeder. The research method uses descriptive research methods. The variables needed are independent variables, namely cable specifications, conductor distance, single line diagram, voltage, current and power. The research procedure is data collection, data processing, analyzing data and making reports.
The power loss calculated manually in a year is 0.652 KW, while the ETAP simulation is 0.6 KW. Improvements made to reduce the amount of power losses in the Jentak Feeder are changing the AAAC conductor (reconductoring) to AAAC insulated by increasing the cross-sectional area of the conductor. From the results of this improvement, it was found that losses decreased by 16% or from 0.6 to 0.5 KW.
