Strategi Implementasi Teknologi Wireless Pada E-Health

Abstract

Information and communication technology (ICT) encourages the growth of public health by integrating ICT and health, commonly called e-health. Wireless technology in medical applications will improve the quality of patient services and the ability of hospital administration efficiency, and will reduce overall health costs. Wireless technology is not only in the area of ​​WAN (Wide Area Network), MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) and LAN (Local Area Network) ), but even in close enough areas such as PAN (Private Area Network) and BAN (Body Area Network). Technologies that support the PAN and BAN areas are Bluetoot, UWB, and sensors (Zegbee and RFID). This study aims to find out how the strategy of implementing wireless technology in e-healt in improving health services. The research method is literature study and SWOT analysis. The results of the study provide several strategic issues that can be done in the context of implementing e-health based on wireless technology.
