Abstract

The current energy problem, especially electricity, is a matter of priority to be considered for its sustainability in the future. The world's electricity is currently dominated by fossil fuels. This has resulted in many adverse impacts on the environment and economy. Renewable energy is expected to be able to provide a minimal solution capable of reducing environmental emissions due to carbon dioxide pollution. The use of renewable energy as a source of electrical energy in South Sulawesi is now evident in the form of PLTB Sidrap and Jeneponto. This is because South Sulawesi has the potential for wind energy of very good quality. The joining of the Sidrap and Jeneponto PLTB in the South Sulawesi interconnection system has an impact on the stability of the system which can be seen in the voltage profile of each bus. This study also provides an overview of the voltage profiles of each system bus both before joining the PLTB and after joining the PLTB. The results of this study show the voltage profile both before joining PLTB in the system and after PLTB joined. System voltage profile before joining 0.96-1.02 pu, where the minimum bus voltage condition exceeds the 0.95 pu limit. System voltage profile after the joining of PLTB with stable PLTB output conditions is at 0.96-1.05 pu. Losses increased from 27.51 MW and 169.14 Mvar to 38.67 MW and 227.51 Mvar.
